Autumn 2023 | Third Trimester Collective
The first ever Third Trimester Collective has officially made its mark on the world.
It’s through experiences like these that make me feel like my heart is quite literally growing bigger and here is why.
I put an ask out into the world for women in their third trimester to join me for a group photo shoot … in the woods … without having met me … not knowing who else would be there … and not much detail about what to expect. And five women said yes.
These five women SHOWED UP! They showed up with an open heart and their truth, courage and sovereignty shined through.
I share this gallery with the intention of honoring these women who chose to step into the light with their fellow sisters on a similar journey.
I share these images to inspire others to put themselves in spaces where you can take a collective breath, let tears shed both in sorrow and joy and to celebrate your life through art.
And I hope these images continue to be seen through generations with the notion that the matriarch is stronger together.
“It was in the top few moments of my whole pregnancy. It was a gift so much more than pictures. The experience made me feel calm, loved and slowed time to simply soak up magic. I met incredible people and think every mother deserves this time to remember how special she is instead of this journey being so baby focused by most of our culture.”
